This was the best U-haul experience I have ever had. There were two employees present on what was a cold, icy morning. I believe Chad was the one working the desk. He was very polite, competent, and helpful. The other employee, cleaned the ice from the windows and warmed up the truck. I've definitely had bad experiences at other U-haul locations. We were on our way quickly and without trouble. The truck was very new and clean.
Incredibly poor customer service. I requested a installation of a hitch. A young man by the name of Dakota informed me it took two days to schedule the installation. I thought this odd since they had the hitch in stock. We made an appointment for Wednesday at 6 p.m. . Apparently everybody leaves before then that might be able to install the hitch. The manager was unavailable and did not answer his phone. The "president" essentially told me to go pound sand that there was nothing he could do. He did not offer any discounts or any help for my trouble. He offered to reschedule the installation at a time that was not possible for me and then had the nerve to tell me that I was not cooperative what a mistake to depend on these very undependable people.
Hassle free. And again got a upgrade size truck due to the one I ordered was not in.
The worst experience you could ask for! Not only did they charge the wrong account but when I tried to contact someone about it I was sent to a call center. They told me the supervisor of the store would give me a call to help me out and he couldn't even take the time to call me, instead he sent me an email and then didn't reply back to the 2nd email I sent. I called for help again to get in contact with the supervisor and they sent him a message with my name and number to get a hold of me and yet again no call from him (Brett Massie). Very unprofessional!!!! Then within the following days I was charged a second time by them which cause my account to overdraw with the total of $420 that they took from me. So once again I reached out to them and was told if I took this reference number I could give it to my bank which is what they needed to re-inverse the 2nd amount charged to me. Well that turned out to be a lie. My bank informed me that information was in fact incorrect. They were just giving me a run around. Currently still waiting to get my money back for the double charge. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND A COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!
Decent selection and decent prices, and you are given a decent amount of time on a single day rental (I don't know what it's like for more than that because single day rentals are all I have ever done)... But the man I dealt with wasn't the least bit personable. Never said anything more than what he absolutely had to, which was pretty much just the price and time it had to be returned. Not even a "thank you"! If not for this, I would give 4 stars... The place is still small and cramped, and there was no indication of public restrooms, which I feel there should be considering it's a moving service... Customers may need to relieve themselves after a long trip!
Always better bigger. Truck was rough riding but gave 4 stars just because it for the job done with very little stress.
