I have traveled all over this country and this is by far the worst campground I have ever stayed in. The staff were rude, the washrooms were filthy. I received no information on the campground other than a list of DON'TS on the back of the receipt. There were trains going by all night that were close enough to shake our motorhome. I wanted to dump our holding tanks in the morning . The office was not open at 9:00 am, so I asked several campers where the dump station was, no one knew. While driving around looking for the dump station I ventured into a part of the campground that looked like skid row. There were twenty-five or thirty run down, dirty old campers that appeared to have full timers living in them. Most had junk piled around them. I never did find the dump station so I had to pay to dump my tanks on the way home. If there were a way to rate this place less than 1 I would do it!

On arriving at registration staff did not have great customer service skills. We are driving a Class A and towing and the staff person took us to our site and wanted us to make a sharp left into the site which we couldn't do while towing, so we asked if we could take the site straight in front of us, and she said, well ok. The water pressure is not very good either. No discounts and they only take cash or check. No WiFi or Cable either for $37.50. Didn't check out the bathrooms so I cannot rate them. Only here for one night.

Beautiful lake and trees. Really has the potential to be very nice. That being said restrooms and showers are nasty at best. There is a section where people live on their campers. I have seen nicer junkyards. Camp sites face each other so you and camper next to you are sharing same space. Very uncomfortable. Not to mention the train track right next to campground that trains come through all hours of day and night sounding their horn. Even in camper with ac running it still wakes up up and is obnoxious. Also between I 70 and Rt 4 with constant traffic and road noise. Do not stay at this place. It's very junky very loud and very dirty.

I did an over night stay Aug 2017. Used bathroom once and was VERY happy I was traveling in an RV and didn't have to use them again. No soap in broken soap dispenser, dirt that had been there for weeks not days. Wife said there was a puddle in the ladies with an industrial sized roll of TP in it. The man hole cover over the sewer, between our site and the one next to us, had a foot sized hole in it. Was very glad I didn't step in it when we set up in the dark. Lastly it was the same cost as other places that were cleaner and the other places also provided WiFi. Also cash or check were our only choice for payment.

Staying here in a fully contained camper is the way to go at this place.

First off they charged more then quoted over phone, not a family campground, it was very noisy it’s located in between I 70 & highway 4 lot of road noise plus there is train track that also runs along campground ran all night and day every hour or so. Campground very run down no signs to say where dump station was located had hard time finding it. They had several permanent campers very bad shape literally falling apart, very tight parking for large campers and a lot of the sites were for parking on grass not handy if you have a lot of rain. Will never camp there again absolutely the worst one we ever stayed at.
